“Mom, I’m not going to die. I’ll bring you something from the aid centre,” Ahmed had vowed. Instead, he was struck in the abdomen as Israeli forces opened fire on civilians near the distribution site.

In the past month alone, 600 Palestinians have been killed, and more than 4,200 wounded, at GHF-run aid stations, according to Gaza’s Government Media Office. What should have been lifelines for the desperate have instead become deadly choke-points.

“We don’t want food—we want you,” Shireen sobbed, cradling Khalil’s lifeless body. Their five-year-old son, Ubaida, and their infant remain behind.
Her husband had ventured out with great caution to avoid military vehicles, but they say that no one felt safe. According to his father, Youssef,
“He was gentle. He tried to feed his children. Now, they’ve weaponized our desperation.”
⚠️ Warnings and Appeals
Youssef’s words reflect a larger outcry. Many displaced Gazans have lost faith in GHF’s operations.
“This isn’t aid—it’s annihilation,” he said, urging a return to UN-run assistance routes: “At least we weren’t being killed just for collecting food.”
