
9th Class Result 2025 – Rawalpindi Board Promotes All Students to SSC-II
Rawalpindi – August 2025:
The Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) has officially announced the 9th Class Result 2025 (SSC-I), revealing a 42.06% pass rate. Despite the low success percentage, the board confirmed that all students have been promoted to SSC-II (10th class) in accordance with policy.

A total of 128,453 students were registered, out of which 125,989 appeared in the examinations. Among them, 53,657 students passed, while 72,312 failed. Additionally, 2,055 students remained absent and 409 admission forms were canceled for various reasons.

The results were jointly announced by Chairman Adnan Khan, Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan, and Secretary Professor Amjad Iqbal Khattak. Results have been uploaded online, while private students are receiving their results via post.

Interestingly, the report highlights that female candidates (63,357) outnumbered male candidates (62,332), reflecting the growing participation of girls in education across the region.
Chairman Adnan Khan congratulated the board staff, praising their dedication, honesty, and professionalism, adding that Rawalpindi Board had ensured transparency and fairness while setting an example for other educational boards.

Meanwhile, Punjab Teachers Union Secretary-General Rana Liaqat advised students to reduce social media use and focus on studies, stressing that avoiding distractions could improve exam outcomes. Parents also expressed concerns, noting that modern children are “difficult to control” due to mobile phone and internet access, which has become necessary for online learning.
The board emphasized that students who failed in subjects must reappear in supplementary exams, despite being promoted to SSC-II.
